French Quarter Business Association Hosts "Get Away in the Vieux Carre"

The French Quarter Business Association is hosting its third "Get Away in the Vieux Carre" campaign, starting June 1st and continuing throughout the summer, with a drawing for a give away at the end of each month. The purpose is to inspire locals to be French Quarter tourists for a few days. It's time for locals to be re-captivated by what's in their own backyard.

The "Get Away in the Vieux Carre" is offering gift certificates for hotels, restaurants, and other key French Quarter spots. You can't walk through the French Quarter without seeing a few beaming faces behind cameras as visitors see the area for the first time. Randomly selected winners will have the chance to experience the French Quarter through its food, entertainment, architecture, culture, nightlife, and history through the eyes of a mesmerized tourist.

Random winners will receive a stay at one of the following hotels: Hotel Monteleone, Bienville House and The Westin New Orleans Canal Place. Winners will also receive complimentary meals and entertainment gift certificates.

Restaurants include ACME Oyster House, Antoine's Restaurant, Bubba Gump, Cafe Beignet, Palm Court Jazz Café, Court of Two Sisters, and Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group. Other attractions include Pat O' Brien's, House of Blues, CityBusness Magazine, Bevolo Gas & Electric Lights, Gray Line Tours, Steamboat NATCHEZ, Historic New Orleans Collection, Creole Delicacies, Feet First, Adler's Jewelry and Audubon Nature Institute.
