The 2010 Race Against Crime 5K Run/Walk, formerly known as Walk the Beat, sponsored by R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl and in partnership with The New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation and the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 9am.



Medallions and 2 VIP tickets to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl VIP Party will be awarded to the top finishers. Winners will also be announced at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. All participants will be given a race number, a FREE commemorative T-shirt and one ticket to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The Bowl will also be held on December 18th, at the Louisiana Superdome at 8pm.



All proceeds from the race will directly benefit the 8th District Station and its officers. The funds raised will be used for everything from maintaining the station to the purchasing of supplies. When filling out your order form or if registering online, please indicate the 8th District Police Station and all proceeds will go directly to the 8th District. Your support for this worthy event is greatly appreciated.



Advanced registration entry fee is $30.00 for adults or children (includes one R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Ticket). Additional R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl tickets may be purchased for $10.00.
