CHRISTMAS PARADE: French Market float will depart from “Krewe of Jingle” following the DDD holiday parade… Krewe of Jingle” Holiday Parade & “Jingle Mingle” Block Party When: Saturday, December 4, 2010 | Parade begins at 1:00 p.m. Where: The Parade will roll on Canal Street from Elks Place to the River THEN, The French Market continues its annual tradition of taking the parade through the Quarter in the form of a mini-parade complete with double-decker Christmas float, throws of beads, Who Dat fans, shopping bags and Christmas cups, a secondline band and stiltwalkers. Expect to see the parade come down Decatur from Canal around 3:30 p.m. and reach the Farmers Market shortly thereafter. The parade will pass by Dutch Alley… |
