In honor of the centennial of Tennessee Williams’s birth, The Historic New Orleans is partnering with The Al Hirschfeld Foundation to present “Drawn to Life: Al Hirschfeld and Theater of Tennessee Williams.” The exhibition, on view January 11–April 3, 2011, features rare items from The Collection’s rich holdings related to “America’s greatest playwright” combined with drawings of characters in Tennessee Williams theatrical productions by legendary artist Al Hirschfeld.
