Join Travel Channel’s Mark DeCarlo on Monday May 9th, 2011 for an exclusive signing of his book “A Fork on the Road: 400 Cities, One Stomach”. In his book Mark journeys across the United States to visit people and their foods in their “natural habitats” and of course, no foodie journey would be complete without a visit to the French Quarter! As referred to by Mark as his “Favorite Hotel in America” it is only appropriate that The Hotel Monteleone hosts his book signing. During the event, held in the Carousel Bar from 12noon – 2:30pm, we will pass out small cups of our gumbo which Mark makes reference to in his book. After the signing, Mark’s book will be on sale in The Hotel Monteleone’s Logo Shop.
