French Quarter filming: Friday, September 28 and Tuesday, October 2, 2018

There will be filming scenes in the French Quarter on Friday, Sept. 28th and Tuesday, Oct. 2nd. The main company will move in and begin filming in the area on Friday, Sept. 28th from approximately 5pm to 12am and Tues Oct 2nd from approximately 6am to 3pm.

The sequence being filmed on Fri., Sept. 28th will involve a Simulated Special Effects Blast between 6pm and 12am, and a Full Road Closure on the 300 Block of Front St. between 6pm and 12am.

The Sequence being filmed on Tues., Oct. 2nd involves a Full Road Closure on the 300 Block of Front St. between 7am and 3pm.

There will also be ITC (Intermittent Traffic Control) at the intersection of Conti St. and Front St., and Bienville St. and Front St. on Fri., Sept. 28th between the hours of 6pm and 12am, excluding rush hour times, and Tues., Oct 2nd between the hours of 7am and 3pm, excluding rush hour times.

Parking will also be affected on the following streets from 7am to 7pm on Thurs., Sept 27th to Wed., Oct 3rd (EXCLUDING WEEKENDS):

  • Both sides 300 Block of Front St. – Prep/Wrap Parking

Parking will also be affected on the following streets from 12:01am to 11:59pm on Friday, Sept. 28th and Tues., Oct 2nd:

  • Both Sides 300 Block of Conti St. – Clear for Picture
  • Both Sides 300 Block of Front St. – Clear for Picture
  • Both Sides 200-300 Blocks of Bienville St. – Clear for Picture
  • Lake side 300 Block of N Peters St. – Work Truck Parking

If you have any specific parking concerns, contact them as soon as possible with any special needs so that they might come up with some creative solutions to address said concerns. If you have any loud construction work or large deliveries scheduled for the day in question, please let them know in advance so we can accommodate your needs.
