French Quarter traffic restrictions & street closures for New Year’s Eve 2020

‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021’ will begin setup Monday, December 28, 2020; expect sidewalk, parking lane, and bike lane closures on the 700 blocks of Decatur (both sides) until Saturday, January 2, 2021 (see attached). There will be intermittent street closures on the 600-800 blocks of Decatur on:

  • Wednesday, December 30, 2020 – 5:00pm through 9:00pm
  • Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 5:00pm and ending on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 1:00am

No Parking Zones will be in place beginning Thursday, December 31st from 12:00am and ending Friday, January 1, 2021 at 6:00am on the 700 and 800 blocks (between Dauphine and Royal Streets) of the following streets:

  • Iberville
  • Bienville
  • Conti
  • St Louis
  • Toulouse
  • St. Peter
  • Orleans
  • St. Ann
  • 800 block of Bourbon St.
  • Canal St. both sides from Convention Center Blvd to Burgundy St.

No Parking Zones will be in place beginning on Thursday, December 31st from 12:00am and ending Friday, January 1st at 6:00am on:

  • Decatur (both sides) from Dumaine to Conti
  • N. Peters (both sides) from Conti to Canal
  • 500 and 600 blocks of Frenchmen(both sides)

Bourbon Street will become a pedestrian mall beginning Thursday, December 31st from 8:00pm and ending Friday, January 1st at 3:00am. The following cross streets of Bourbon Street will be closed:

  • Iberville
  • Bienville
  • Conti
  • St. Louis
  • Toulouse
  • St. Peter
  • Orleans
