New Orleans Pride Weekend, June 17-19, 2016

New Orleans Pride weekend is June 17-19, 2016. Below are a couple of ways to market your company that weekend:

On Friday, June 17th New Orleans Pride is hosting an event at the Joy Theater with several t.v. personalities from Ru Paul’s Drag Race. There will be 202 VIP swag bags made.

  • If you would like to donate 202 giveaways (i.e. samples) or coupons for your business that weekend, please contact New Orleans Pride Executive Director Chris Leonard at director@prideneworleans.com to arrange a pickup.

In return, you will be listed as a sponsor of New Orleans Pride on the website and social media. (Included in the bags will be the FQBA’s Passport to the French Quarter.)

On Saturday, June 18th is the New Orleans Pride Parade, Louisiana’s largest LGBTQA ( lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, ally) parade. The parade will roll down Decatur, Canal, and Bourbon Streets. The parade is open to anyone who wants to participate, you can register at www.NewOrleansPrideFestival.com for a small fee.

New Orleans Pride is hoping to “Paint the Quarter Rainbow” on Saturday, June 18th  for the Parade.

  • Businesses and residents are encouraged to hang rainbow flags on June 18th.

Please, note that this is the same weekend of IPW. The French Quarter will be hosting many guests that weekend and the FQBA encourages all of our members to put their best foot forward!
