The New Orleans Police Department’s Intelligence Unit and Eighth District are monitoring a protest scheduled for Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 12 noon. W.W.A.P.P.’s International Working Women’s Day March & Rally will form at Armstrong Park and has no known march destination. NOPD expects 200+ participants. March destinations could include the federal buildings on Poydras Street (500 and 650 Poydras St.), New Orleans City Hall, Mercedes Benz Super Dome, and the down town area/French Quarter.
